Welcome to Luke Brown Plumbers & Gasfitters. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (https://lukebrownplumbers.com.au/) and the plumbing and gasfitting services we provide across Perth, WA.

By accessing our website or booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services Provided

Luke Brown Plumbers & Gasfitters provides professional plumbing and gasfitting services, including:

  • Residential Plumbing: Maintenance, leak detection, blocked drains, and hot water repairs.

  • Commercial Plumbing: Shop fit-outs, preventative maintenance, and large-scale installations.

  • Emergency Services: 24/7 rapid response for urgent plumbing failures.

  • Gas Fitting: Installation and repair of gas appliances and lines.

2. Quotes and Estimates

  • All quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection. If unforeseen issues arise (such as hidden pipe corrosion or non-compliant existing work), we will provide a revised quote before proceeding with additional work.

  • We offer a No Call-Out Fee policy during standard business hours; however, specialized diagnostic equipment (e.g., CCTV drain cameras) may incur a service fee.

3. Client Obligations

To ensure we provide the best service, the client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and clear access to the property and work site.

  • Disclose the location of any underground services (power, data, or old pipes) not clearly marked on site plans.

  • Ensure a responsible adult is present or access is pre-arranged for scheduled appointments.

4. Payments and Invoicing

  • Payment Terms: Residential invoices are due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commercial and progress payments are due within 14 days of the invoice date.

  • Methods: We accept cash, EFT, and major credit cards.

  • Late Payments: We reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue accounts at a rate of 2% per month.

5. Cancellations

We understand that plans change. We request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a minimum labor charge.

6. Warranty and Workmanship

  • Workmanship: We take pride in our trade. All our work is performed by licensed professionals and complies with Australian Standards.

  • Product Warranty: Fixtures and materials supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. We do not provide warranties on materials supplied by the client.

  • Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution, Luke Brown Plumbers & Gasfitters is not liable for:

  • Damage caused by pre-existing defects in your plumbing system.

  • Delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., extreme weather or supply chain shortages).

  • Incidental damage required to access pipes (e.g., cutting into drywall or lifting tiles), though we will always discuss this with you first.

8. Website Usage
